Yoongi
*Three days later*
Jimin, Jungkook and I were at the house with Alina while the others were doing patrol with some of the others. Ever since three days ago, we tried to increase patrol just in case there were more vampires. Namjoon kept tab of what was happening in town as well. The newspaper only commented that a fire had happened but there was nothing else. There was no footage and no remains which at least made one problem go away.
Thinking about what was going on made me physically sick. I thought about those five women who were brutally murdered by those sick vampires. They must have been so scared. It made me so mad to know that their lives had to end that way. It made feel ill to know that the last thing they saw was those *s who probably played with them like a predator plays with its prey. It wasn’t just about feeding for them, no, it was a game – a sick, twisted, sadistic game.
I took a deep breath as I rested against the wooden railing, right outside of our house. It was a beautiful day with a slight breeze but sunny weather. It was somewhat calming, yet my mind continued to race ahead, worried about that vampire clan.
Suddenly, I felt hands wrapping around from behind me. I flinched slightly but instantly calmed down. ‘Hey baby,’ Alina’s sweet voice greeted me.
‘Hey princess,’ I said as I turned around so I could face her. She smiled as she put her arms around my neck and I placed mine on her hips.
‘Are you okay? I don’t know, you look….um, distracted and like you’re worried. You didn’t even hear me coming which is not like you,’ she said and I sighed. I knew it was useless to lie to her or hide things from her. Besides, if I didn’t want her doing that to me, then I could not do it to her.
‘I’m just tired and a little worried Alina. I don’t know how to explain it,’ I said with a shrug.
‘Then try. I’m all ears, always,’ she said as she gave me a quick, gentle peck. I smiled as I leaned in for another one. ‘Tell me,’ she said.
‘I don’t know if it’s me being paranoid or if it’s a gut feeling. It’s just something tells me that whatever happened with the vampires isn’t over, like there are more than the four we dealt with,’ I said and she nodded, not surprised.
‘Like a whole clan?’ she asked and I shrugged. ‘It wouldn’t be something out of the ordinary. They love travelling in clans,’ she said.
‘Exactly. I’m a little worried and scared,’ I admitted as she nodded. She cupped my face in her hands as she looked at me.
‘We’ll deal with it if it happens my love,’ she said as she crashed her lips against mine. I kiss her, our kiss growing deeper and deeper. I could feel her heart race and so was mine. She started running out of breath and I pulled back as her chest heaved up and down. ‘Mark me,’ she said.
‘What?’ I asked, a little surprised. She smiled and touched my face.
‘I um…’ she said, suddenly starting to get shy. ‘Well, um, to mark me. I want to share with you the bond I have with Taehyung,’ she said.
‘Are you sure?’ I asked. She smiled and nodded, causing me to smile. ‘Okay. It’s going to hurt a little,’ I said.
‘It’s okay. I trust you,’ she said. I gulped, suddenly feeling my heart race even faster than before. Her complete and utter trust in us always made me feel so much love in my heart.
I took a shaky breath as I cupped her cheeks in my hands. I kissed her gently on her lips first before I moved to her neck. I brushed over where her mark from Tae was. I kissed it gently, causing her to shiver, which made me chuckle.
‘Is it sensitive my love?’ I asked and she nodded. I kisses it again and I felt her grip grow tighter against my arms. I moved my lips slightly up her neck, on a new spot. I gave it a kiss and then a lick. She shuddered once more while I smirked, unable to help myself.
‘Are you ready Alina?’ I asked. She nodded. I felt my teeth come out of their place. For a moment, I felt the whole world stop as I bit into her neck as carefully as I could.
Silence seemed to surround me and it was as if time itself had stilled. Everything seemed to have either slowed down or just stopped. My body seemed to fill with warmth as I felt a slight burn sensation but it was a welcomed burn. I felt her groan as she dug her fingers into my skin. I could feel a rush of emotions running through me – both mine and hers. I removed my teeth and quickly licked at where the mark was, cleaning off the blood and sealing the wound. She leaned on me, resting against me.
‘Are you okay princess?’ I asked as I hugged her. I ran my hand up and down her back as she nodded against my chest.
‘I’m fine, better than fine actually,’ she said as she pulled away slightly to look at me. ‘This mating bond, it always makes me feel so alive,’ she said with a slight giggle.
‘I can’t even explain the way it makes me feel Alina. Words are not enough,’ I said as I kissed her once more. Once again, the kiss grew deeper, making both of us feel lost until we heard someone clear their throat.
I pulled away as we looked at Jimin and Jungkook who were looking at us and smirking. Jimin was smiling so wide, his eyes were barely visible while Jungkook leaned against the door frame, arms crossed.
‘So that’s what you two have been doing huh?’ Jungkook asked, with a teasing voice. I just shrugged while Alina blushed.
‘Don’t tease them Kooks. You’re making her blush,’ Jimin said as he approached us.
‘But I love seeing her blush. Her cheeks become so rosy it makes me want to pinch them,’ Jungkook replied, earning a chuckle from me. ‘You marked her?’ he asked, turning to look at me. I nodded, unable to hide my smile.
‘Yeah he did. I promise, one of these days, I’ll come to you both,’ she said. I knew she always had that guilt of not being marked by everyone at the same time. I knew she felt like she was choosing favourites, but she wasn’t.
‘Hey don’t worry about it Alina. The mark and the bonding, it works in mysterious ways. You go for it when you feel it calling you,’ Jimin said.
‘Chim is right. The right time will come and it will mean so much more than if it was rushed. Please baby, don’t ever feel guilty about waiting for the right time,’ he said and I nodded in agreement.
‘The bonding, it’s more than just a mark Alina. You know that now. It’s a magic of its own,’ I said.
‘It’s the best feeling in the world and I can’t wait until I bare all of your marks,’ she said, her cheeks completely red.
